1st August 2007 How do I purchase Ascension!?!

Okay, I have had quite a few emails from people lately who are confused about how to buy Ascension. So I just want to clarify a few things.

• Ascension is not yet for sale. It was available for pre-order a few months ago. Those people who pre-ordered received the beta release. The current beta release has the full text (minus some errata) and 25% of the art. If you have seen people talking or discussing the details of Ascension online, chances are those people have the beta version.
• I stopped taking pre-orders for a number of reasons. Firstly my paypal account maxed out. Secondly the goalposts for a release date kept shifting and I didn't want to keep disappointing more people than I already had. Thirdly, ENWorld Shop was purchased by OneBookShelf, and I didn't feel comfortable releasing an incomplete product on any other site - in fact I am not even sure it could be done on those other sites.
• Ascension should be ready this month (August). Okay, I've probably given a hundred different release dates, but if I hadn't started my new job it would have been finished in July easily. 25% of the art is completed, a further 50% of the art is in various stages of completion (mainly needing inked), the cover is drawn and just needs painted. The new job has affected progress, but I will be changing my hours as of this Friday to a less hectic schedule to give me more time to finish off Ascension .Is it possible the release will slip to September - yes of course it is (this is me remember), but I only need about 2 weeks work to complete it, so we are basically at the final hurdle.

Okay, some of you found out a few days ago, the print version of the Immortals Handbook - Epic Bestiary: Volume One has been announced by Mongoose Publishing for release on Monday 11th June 2007.

29th October 2006 Important News!

As a few of you may already know, DrivethruRPG and RPGNow have merged and swallowed ENWorld Gamestore to become OneBookShelf. So what does this mean for Eternity Publishing. Basically bad news, it seems this new shop takes an extra 15% above what the old ENWorld Gamestore rate...which is where the majority (65%+) of Eternity Publishing sales were generated. In the short term this won't change any of my prices, so the Epic Bestiary: Volume One will remain $8.95. Although future pdfs will probably need to be more expensive to compensate. However, I am also looking in to a dedicated, automated method of selling via this website, where I will be able to sell pdfs cheaper. I know I do sell pdfs via this website, but I think people would be more comfortable with an automated system, rather than a manual one.

Those of you wanting to pre-order/purchase Ascension, and have not already done so, can no longer do so. Not until I upload it to the new store, which won't happen until after I have Ascension completely finished. The only alternative (assuming you can't wait a few weeks) would be to paypal me directly. But, even though I have used this method in the past, with no complaints, I think an automated system would seem more professional.

NB. As of 1st January 2007 I am no longer taking any sales via this website!
